These collectors have the best sense of humor and love a great story.
This commission imagines Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp playing billiards at the historic Palace saloon in Prescott, Arizona. Doc and Wyatt were known to visit The Palace, so this scene may have actually taken place. The couple are featured in the painting as Bartender, and the lady strolling past the window with her parasol. Two men are cooling off after punching cows all day.
Did you know The Palace is the oldest continuously running saloon in Arizona? Now you do! Big thanks to The Palace for allowing us to set up for the photo shoot!
